In addition to the core course and other coursework in the Minor, students and faculty in the program will be invited to participate in the on-going Law and Society speaker series. The speaker series, co-chaired by Professor Margot Young (Law) and Dr.Renisa Mawani, features speakers from UBC as well as prominent scholars in Law and Society from around the world. In 2007-2008 the series featured 22 events. As appropriate and schedule permitting, guest speakers on campus will be invited to meet with students and/or speak with classes in the Minor program.
